Users

In Cryptlex, a user represents your end customer. Users can optionally be associated with one or more licenses, depending on your selected access and license management strategy.

Creating a user is not required for standard licensing workflows. However, it is mandatory when you want to provide access to the Customer Portal. When a user is linked to one or more licenses, they can independently view assigned licenses and related details, download published releases, view activations, perform deactivations, and complete offline activations. This self-service capability helps reduce the overall support workload.

Creating a user

  1. Navigate to Customers → Users page in the admin portal and click Create.
  2. Provide the required details, including First Name, Last Name, Email, Password, and Role.

Linking a user to a license

  1. Navigate to the Licenses page in the admin portal.
  2. Click Create to create a new license or edit an existing license.
  3. Open the Customer tab and link the desired user.
